Job Overview

The QA Engineer Developer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through testing and debugging. Success in this position will involve identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner, collaborating with development teams to improve product functionality, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This role is critical to the success of the company as it ensures that our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to define and implement test plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team to improve software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and report software defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders, including project managers and product owners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business and user requirements.
Qualifications
  1. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  5. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
  6. Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. ISTQB or other relevant software testing certification is a plus.
