Job Overview

The Coldfusion Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Coldfusion technology. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and experience with Coldfusion, SQL, and JavaScript. Success in this position will be demonstrated by the ability to deliver high-quality code that meets project requirements and deadlines. This role is critical to the success of our organization as we continue to expand our web presence and improve our customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Coldfusion applications according to project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, and implement fixes and enhancements as needed.
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Coldfusion development, and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and workflows.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation, and provide input on technical feasibility and resource requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Ensure that all code is properly tested and meets quality standards before deployment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all code and processes.
Qualifications
  1. Strong proficiency in ColdFusion programming language
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in ColdFusion development
  4. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
  5. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  10. ColdFusion certification (optional)
