Job Overview

The Unity (C#) Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Unity applications for our company. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Unity and C# programming, as well as experience with game development. Success in this position will be demonstrated by the ability to deliver high-quality, bug-free code on time and within budget. This role is critical to the success of our organization as we continue to expand our offerings in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Unity (C#) code for video games and other interactive applications.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create and implement game mechanics, user interfaces, and other features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets project requirements and industry standards.
  • Test and debug code to ensure functionality and performance, and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Optimize code for performance and memory usage, and identify and resolve bottlenecks and other issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews and other quality assurance processes to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and provide regular updates on progress and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and help ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to other team members and end users as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Strong proficiency in C# programming language
  2. Experience with Unity game engine and development environment
  3. Knowledge of game development principles and practices
  4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  8. Experience with version control systems such as Git
  9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  10. Unity certification or other relevant certifications/licenses.
